Abstract

This study emerges from both concern and hope for the future of education in remote regions in the era of Artificial Intelligence. Inspired by the spirit of service exemplified by Vincent de Paul, the research seeks to design a Vincentian educator model that goes beyond teaching—one that is present, listens attentively, and walks alongside those they serve. Using a qualitative approach grounded in literature review and conceptual reflection, the study integrates generalist pedagogy with reflective practice as a pathway to adaptive, humane, and meaningful learning. Findings indicate that educators in remote areas are called to be flexible individuals, capable of embracing diverse contexts, fostering learning communities, and leveraging technology wisely as a tool rather than an end. The Vincentian Adaptive Reflective Model (VARM) is proposed as a novel framework that unites values, relationships, and innovation to promote liberating and humanizing education.
