Menyambut Kebahagiaan di Usia Lanjut: Refleksi atas Hidup Vinsensius di Masa Senja
Abstract
Twilight is often seen as a period of decline in the journey of life, but for Vincent, he sees it as a new opportunity full of meaning and depth. This article invites us to permeate and reflect on the twilight of Vincent's life, which is not just a conclusion, but a new chapter full of happiness, inner peace, and profound wisdom. With a qualitative approach through literature review and personal reflection, the author explores the dimensions of happiness in old age, including self-acceptance, closeness to family, and contribution to the community. Vincent, though his body was beginning to weaken, used his twilight to create more meaningful happiness, becoming a source of inspiration and wisdom for others. Through this paper, the author emphasizes the importance of mental readiness in facing the challenges of age and how the elderly can continue to contribute by sharing valuable life experiences. These findings reveal that twilight is a time to celebrate wisdom, love yourself, and live with gratitude, opening up opportunities for a freer, wiser, and more loving life.
